Based on research and employing strategies drawn from a 2012 report by the Poverty & Race Research Action Council and The Century Foundation, Summit Schools focuses on creating an inclusive and diverse environment to set their students up for success.
In addition to recruiting for a diverse student body, emphasis is placed on supporting students in and out of the classroom, including pairing each student with a faculty mentor who meets with them weekly.
